VOTE APRIL 25th 2017
In 2014, I retired after 41 years as a public servant in the Massachusetts juvenile corrections system, mostly serving as regional administrator for the Department of Youth Services in Taunton for Bristol, Plymouth, Norfolk, Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket counties.
As an experienced manager, I place a strong emphasis on promoting co-operation and open communication, and I look forward to using that experience to collaborate with others on the Board of Selectmen, staff, and our many volunteers.
When my wife and I moved to town, the Easton schools had a reputation for excellence, housing was affordable, and the town seemed committed to maintaining its historical roots, investing in open space and recreational opportunities for our children, and had an abundant supply of clean water. During our 37-years in Easton, we happily raised two children and two grandchildren, and while Easton faces new challenges, many of the qualities that attracted us to settle here remain important priorities for the town.
I am currently a member of the Easton Lions’ Club, the Natural Resources Trust (NRT), and the Ames Free Library, and am also on the social services subcommittee of the Old Colony YMCA Board of Directors.
